Fivio International Talks Push to Take Drill Music Off Radio

Fivio Foreign has addressed current conversations surrounding drill music and the tradition round it, and argued that it’s doing extra good than hurt.

In a brand new interview with TMZ, the New York rapper defined his stance on these wanting to stop drill from hitting the airwaves—which comes after DJ Drewski of Sizzling 97 said he’s dropping “diss/gang” records from his rotation. “This the drill group,” Fivio stated. “I do know the police and all people, they be us like n****s is beginning hassle. N****s ain’t actually beginning hassle, they tryna feed their children. They tryna take away the drill music off the radio. They tryna cease it from being on the radio.”

Fivio elaborated, saying that after conferences with executives and different necessary figures just like the late Pop Smoke’s mom, “it’s not the music that’s killing folks, it’s the music that’s serving to n****s from the hood get out the hood.” 

“We want that,” he added. “Should you take that from n****s, n****s can be within the hood killing one another and going loopy on one another.”
